This is a song I wrote in August 2021. It is a very simple song with just guitar, vocals and harmonica, but is one of my favorites. The idea for the song came when I was driving through the small farming town of 'Gordonton', about an hour south of Auckland, on my way home. The green fields and quiet roads made me think about how nice it would be to live there, away from the bustling city.

This is one of those songs that came very quickly and I recorded and released it within a month. The stunning vocals are performed by Auckland singer, Rachel Clarke. I recorded the video on my iPhone in Rachel's bike shed on a stormy winter afternoon in New Lynn (Auckland)
